The very name “persimmon” and our theme “Make the natural choice” are as much a part of our culture here at Persimmon Ridge Golf Club as is our dedication to providing an excellent golf experience on our gorgeous Arthur Hills’ designed 18-hole championship course.
Persimmon Ridge is located in western Shelby County, 25 minutes from Louisville International Airport, downtown Louisville and downtown Shelbyville. The natural contours of this tract allowed golf course architect Arthur Hills to create a masterpiece of golf course design, which won the prestigious Golf Digest “Outstanding Design” award in 2007.
Your round takes you through woods, over creeks, around lakes and through a 120-foot elevation change during your round. Persimmon Ridge is ranked one of the most challenging golf courses in the region, playing to 7,113 yards from our longest of five sets of tees.
